The Australian Government, Australian educational providers, and a number of other public and private organisations offer many scholarships, grants, and bursaries which can help support you financially with your studies in Australia.
All applications and enquiries for scholarships are made through the scholarship provider. Our counsellors may be able to guide you and to help you apply for a scholarship.
Some of the governmental scholarship programs available for international students are:
- Australia Awards : these awards aim to promote knowledge, education links, and enduring ties between Australia and our neighbours through Australia’s extensive scholarship programs.
- Destination Australia : to help eligible tertiary education providers offer scholarships to domestic and international students to study and live in regional Australia.
- Research Training Program RTP : funding to support both domestic and overseas students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees
In addition to these government scholarship programs, Australian education providers regularly offer scholarships to qualifying international students, based on academic merit. They are designed to attract high-performing students as well as those hoping to work in the country after graduation. These scholarships may offer a substantial bulk payment, educational subsidies, or living allowances to make life financially easier for you.
